I heard about Sidewalks from a member of my fraternity who is going, and think more people should see the pockets of poverty that lay right outside of urban areas.

I will be working there this summer, and would love to set something up (as simple or as involved as you would like).

You know, Bret, last year at Sidewalks when we all donated a bunch of clothes to Water Street, I gave a pink sweatshirt away, and from time to time, I still think about it and miss it. And knowing that I harbor such a love for that sweatshirt kinda makes me want to get rid of all my clothes!

We serve others so that we don’t forget that we were rescued ourselves.

When the video first started, I thought, okay, the same themes that we talked about all summer… but I just really enjoyed it.
I know most poeple don’t really like Rob Bell all that much, but I enjoy them.
